Fever Support with Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint essential oil diluted in a carrier oil, such as Grapeseed oil, and rub directly on your skin will help support a cooling sensation. Also, try adding several drops of Peppermint to a spray bottle filled with equal parts distilled water and Witch-Hazel, then mist onto skin as needed for a cooling sensation. Lime is also a wonderful way to help lower higher temperatures.

HOW TO APPLY:

Peppermint essential oil is safe to use one drop neat on the bottom of the feet of people ages 4 and up. Use proper dilution on children and babies or people with highly sensitive skin. Peppermint oil is safe to use in a 1:1 dilution on adults and on the bottom of the feet of walking age children. For ages 0-1 on any other area use 1 drop essential oil to 8-10 drops carrier oil. For ages 2-6 use 1 drop essential oil to 2-4 drops carrier oil. For ages 7 and up use 1 drop essential oil to 1 drop carrier oil. Use more carrier oil on sensitive areas.

Caution: Use caution if pregnant. Caution if hypersensitive. Possible circulatory enhancer, use caution if using blood thinners or aspirin regimen.

*NOTE: If you accidentally get some essential oils in your eye, do not flush it with water. You will be forcing the essential oil deeper into your eye, causing the burn to feel like an inferno. The best thing is flush it with a carrier oil. AKA olive oil, coconut oil, etc…
